Title Change
I'm taking suggestions for names. So far the only one I can come up with is 'I'd Rather Be Lucky Than Good' which seems a little long.
I thnk I should offer a prize for the winning suggestion. What I need is to be as creative as Leslie What. She would come up with something cool to give.
Maybe baked goods? The winner could get a box of homemade chocolate chip cookies in the mail.

Maureen: I steal my idea from your offer.
Call it Baked Goods.
Everyone will read.
:-)
"Short but Healthy."
(paraphrased from the Alanis Morrisette song)
Well, how about "Third Time Lucky"?
I've got a few spare titles laying about....
"Provocative Chimes"
"Generational Nexus"
"Wonderous Details"
"Corrective Phrenology"
"Like Ash Between the Fingers"
or digging way back for the final three...
"The Elderberry Tales"
"The Cantaloupe Tales" and
"The Ill-Fated Brussel Sprout Tales"
I like Baked Goods.
If you'd like to borrow "Two Hookers, Three Hearts of Gold," I can loan it to you. I won't need it back until July when I have time to write the story.
McQsm. It has a fun ring to it (well, to my ear) and it might be one of the first English blogs to feature a title with no vowels.
Martian Candles.
Jo Walton
How about "Welcome Back My Friends to the Show That Never Ends?" - okay - long . . .
Another Brick in the Wall?
Ragan Rules?
(Did I spell Ragan right?)
I think "Free Cookies" sounds better than "Baked Goods".
This is doubtless too long, but "It's Smarter to be Lucky than it's Lucky to be Smart."
Tho' I think Baked Goods is pretty swell.
I like McQsm. That seems to fit.
"Better Lucky Than Smart." Compression works!
Though I like McQsm a lot.
In the spirit of all great titles, why not "excerpt" yourself and call it "Waiting for the Vicodin to Kick in?" I just stumbled on your blog while googling Peter Kvidera, but I feel like I'm snooping. So if you prefer me to stop reading it, I will. I miss you (and your baked goods).
Jennifer, it's a public blog! And you're a student who became a friend! I'm glad you're reading it. How are you? Are you writing? (I always ask that, you know.)
