Me & Martin Luther

This morning has been given over to one of the adverse affects of chemo therapy. The good news is that it is an affliction I share with Martin Luther. And that he attributed to much of his contemplation, which led to the reformation.

None the less, I am glad to have much better medical options than he did. Even if the result is that I haven't had any profound thoughts.

Martin Luther couldn't get fresh fruit and vegetables any week of the year and you can!

Martin Luther didn't have intravenous injection of chemicals so corrosive that the nurses have to wear 'chemo gloves' rather than latex, either. But I had been eating my fiber (always over-do on and around chemo day) and taking my corrective medication. Today is much better.

But I do miss the opportunity to have thought of something like the 99 thesis.

Barth, I've had a whopping one-half of a glass of wine since this all started. But it was an excellent wine had with excellent company. (The doctor said I could have an occassional glass of wine for a celebration or something.)
