Green chili for lunch

Bob and I are visiting my sister's Boston Terrier, Petey-Bob, in Las Cruces, New Mexico. We're also visiting my sister, of course, and Chloe the beautiful Doberman. But Petey-Bob and Bob are bonding. And I'm getting green chili on whatever I have for lunch. Even if it's ice cream.

Yum! Even on ice cream, though some ice cream flavors would probably showcase the chile verde better than others.

I would be interested to hear if you have gotten any surprising news lately. Don't be shy to share if so.

Any chance that you could score a local green chili recipe?

Inquiring minds,

I don't know that I'd call Maureen a rock, but it's very cool news.

If you ever get back to Austin and you do call people you know and it is September (I think it's September when the green chili herd migrates through Austin), we will take you out for green chili ice cream and green chili apple pie at Chuy's.

Congratulations on the Story Prize!
