I'm a writer with four novels and more than two dozen short stories published. The best known is probably my novel China Mountain Zhang. A collection of my short stories, called Mothers and Other Monsters, was published by Small Beer Press in July '05.

Man, being outside in an Iowa summer is hard enough without having to wear all that gear.

And you can tell the corn crop is going to suffer 'cause it looks like they haven't had a lot of rain.
(We got word that he's finished with his latest recon mission and is back beind the wire.)
