And Now It's Shelly's Turn

Tomorrow the little dog goes to the vet because she's got some sort of skin problem affecting her ears.

It wouldn't really qualify for a post because while I don't want her to actually suffer or anything, it's not really a serious issue. But it is an opportunity to post another photo.

The scaly patches of skin on her ears are oddly symmetrical and not itchy, suggesting that she has an internal problem (endocrinological) rather than an external problem (she stuck her head in something.) So we did thyroid tests. She was convinced that drawing blood would kill her but somehow survived.

Smith take thyroid meds and it's no big deal, so I wouldn't be surprised if Shelly ended up doing the same thing.

She is now sleeping, exhausted by her ordeal.

She awaits the never-to-come understanding from the world that beautiful creatures such as herself exist simply to be beautiful. Though perhaps she has to admit, in her moments of honesty, that there really ARE no creatures QUITE as beautiful as herself.

Karen, Shelly is the Princess and The Center of the Known Universe.

(Probably the Unknown Universe as well.)

Hey, Anon. I just want you to know I'm a big fan of your work. All those poems by Anon. Damn, you're prolific.

The kid is the ever studly photographer, Adam.
